| #1 | My son is 14 and very high functioning but expressing himself and social skills are his areas of difficulty. The other day he had been fighting with his brothers and was n trouble for something he had done to one of them. As I was talking to him about it he became very angry at something I had said. When he gets very angry he converses in a perfectly normal manner. We noticed this when he was younger. I had not seen this in quite sometime but I am wondering why this happens and only when he is very angry? |

Very interesting article. My son is high functioning and I've noted a long time ago that he seemed more coherent when he had a fever. Almost as if things slowed down so that he could converse easier. |
